MDL PH Season 3 | Schedule, Format, Standings

Updated on: May 13

Cementing its place in the Philippines' esports ecosystem, Moonton's MLBB development league, MDL Philippines, is back for Season 3, kicking off on March 12, 2024.

Nurturing rising stars and working as a feeder series for MPL Philippines, there are plenty of fresh faces and star-quality talent in Season 3 as Mobile Legends continues expanding its influence in SEA and the Philippines. With a $20K prize pool and glory on the line, there's everything to play for!

Keep reading for a detailed rundown on MDL Philippines Season 3, including the complete schedule, format, all ten teams competing, and the current standings!

MDL PH Season 3: Format

Like MPL Philippines, MDL Philippines Season 3 has two stages: the Regular Season, from March 12 until April 25, and the Playoffs in May. Unlike MDL Philippines Season 2, there will be 10 teams instead of 12.

All ten partnered teams compete in a single round-robin, where all matches are Bo3. MDL PH operates on a points-scoring system:

  • Three points for winning 2-0 games
  • Two points for winning 2-1 games
  • One point for losing 1-2 games
  • Zero points for losing 0-2 games

The top six teams advance to the Playoffs in May, the exact date and format of which has yet to be confirmed. In the Grand Final, two teams will battle to see who clinches the title.

MDL PH Season 3: Teams

Long-time MPL PH watchers may recognize several teams on the list. With plenty of new faces having joined over the winter off-season, MDL Philippines Season 3 will provide a show fans will remember, especially with the $20,000 USD prize pool up for grabs!
